Unfortunately, today, all we often get from the movie industry is romanticism, displays of nudity, and sexual content. While this may not seem like an issue to some, as it's a means of livelihood for others, the bridging of the digital divide has made all this content easily accessible, and children are not exempted. As a result, children as young as 8 to 10 years old now watch most of these movies, even in their parents' living rooms, and it's seen as a normal thing. Don't be surprised when you see primary three pupils kissing each other; this is the consequence of parents being careless about their children's access to digital content today. To raise your child differently and succeed today, you must step up your game as a parent and keep a close watch on your children. Otherwise, we have failed, and we will continue to fail. On the 28th of January 2024, the National Association of Kogi State Students conducted a remarkable inauguration ceremony, seamlessly bringing together all Kogi State indigenes in a program that exuded vitality and good health. The proceedings unfolded flawlessly, with certificates bestowed upon each appointee, accompanied by the solemn recitation of an oath of allegiance. This pledge, undertaken by the appointees, committed them to serve the Association with utmost dedication, vowing to prioritize its interests above personal ones. Inaugurated as the new president, Comrade Bashir Muhammed delivered a resounding and industrious speech, meticulously outlining the strategic pathways that would elevate the Association to unprecedented heights. A notable presence at the event was the representative of the president of the Igala Student Association (ISA), Comrade Raphael Okiti, who, clad in the president's cardigan, stood assertively. He proffered sagacious advice, calling for solidarity while vehemently discouraging any form of ethnic bias. As the ceremony concluded, fervent prayers were offered to the Almighty Allah, beseeching divine guidance for Nakoss and its newly inaugurated executives, entrusting their journey to greater heights.
