Whoever designed the architectural masterplan of Ahmadu Bello University,Zaria was indeed a romantic designer. The planner must have been an intimate admirer of nature. The school can break you academically but has the soothing balm for you just by the side. Whoever went to ABU and didn't take away the love side of nature can never appreciate love forever. In ABU zaria you find the most friendly camaraderie, in that place igbo language is most spoken than Hausa language, there you find the children of the rich reduced down to the level of the poor folks. No one ever carried an air of arrogance around him or her and ever lived to tell the story of nature's kindness. It was a meeting points of greatness. In ABU zaria, a mini Nigeria was created and a sustained veins of integration put in emotion. Regardless of your biases, people were hurled together in one room. In no time, you had no option but to live the lives of yourselves. Bonds were established and affinities became so stimulating. Everyone was for all as all was for one. Barriers were broken, prejudices abused. Intimate relationships built as people love for the sake of nature. Classes were attended together, discussions held into the nights. Life was sweet, the environment was a shelter for lovebirds. The last place to see exchange of fist was ABU zaria, you dare not cause a rift as everyone was a product of civility. At night, Ribadu garden, Sculpture garden, Archi rooftops, Sodom and Gomorrah, Mahdi followers, Gorilla gate, Drama village were embracing abodes for lovers. Life was lived in fullest. People enjoyed unhindered intimacy. You dare not violate the rules of engagement. No cases of harassment, rape and any other misnomer. Life in ABU was paradise on earth. You can't go to ABU and not have a friend. Friendship were cultivated and nurtured into lifetime homes. You either have an academic boyfriend or an emotional heartthrob. It was a beautiful experience. In Zaria, the only Aluta that supersede all other alutas was the emotional aluta. It was damn difficult to escape that- we are all product of emotional aluta. Yes ABU zaria was a hub of love, peace and harmony but this bond is abruptly truncated the very moment you enter the mosque and the church! At that point, we are opposite of the above virtues. And I then wonder, what has religion done to us as a people? Soberly musing Hadiza Musawa thank u for reminding me . #abuzaria

Nigeria can be so beautiful and heavenly like how ABU Zaria is. The students of my school, most of them clearly understand how to live and nurture diversity. Really. ABU Zaria is the most heterogeneous university in the whole of Nigeria, you'll find people from different nooks and crannies, yet, you hardly see people having a serious fight whenever it comes to dealing with their differences. Respect and turning diversity into a beautiful thing is the cause of it all. Nigerians can do the same, for peace and unity to reign in this country. I love ABU Zaria, that's why it's naturally ahead, different amongst all. 😍

The fastest way to kill something special is to compare it to something else.

Don’t feel disappointed. It's natural to stumble, lose some hope & get impatient during life's challenges. It can happen to anyone. But if we remember that it’s part of the Almighty’s Plan, we will see things in perspective. We will sooner or later realise the hidden blessings behind the trials.

Patience is beautiful. The result of waiting is beautiful. If the Almighty is making you wait, be prepared for something beyond your expectations. He knows it’s not easy for you so He makes sure it’s worth your wait.

President Ruto who made a national speech today is locked up in the building with a lot of military personnel. Some just agree to give me bad names so that they can feed. I thank God my person is feeding them. Some of these jobbers and beggars see my fight for electoral justice in Kogi state as an ethnic agenda. But these political buffoons and charlatans have short and myopic memories of the antecedents of my legal fight for electoral and democratic justice in Kogi State. Soon after the late political sage, Prince Abubakar Audu died in 2015 or so, and Hon James Abiodun Faleke was denied the right to become Governor of Kogi State by dint of some political abracadabra put in place by his political party, which preferred and produced Yahaya Bello to inherit the votes that Prince Abubakar Audu and Hon James Abiodun Faleke worked very hard to earned, I was one of the leading lawyers that fought for electoral justice for Hon James Abiodun Faleke.That fight nearly cost me my life. Hon James Abiodun Faleke is an Okun man. He is not an Igala man. I stood for him because justice was denied him. Again when Yahaya Bello wanted to disgrace Hon Justice Nasir Ajanah, CJ of Kogi State as he then was, from office, may God rest the soul of his lordship, I was one of the lawyers that stood for his Lordship in his travails with Yahaya Bello as then Governor. Hon Justice Ajanah was not an Igala man. No, he was an Ebira man from Okene. I stood for him because he was being oppressed for doing what a good judicial officer should do. I was not a tribal bigot, then. These buffoons and charlatans giving me bad names to be hung now did not know that I was an Igala man of royal blood. Again, when Senator Ohaire and Rt. Hon Abdullahi Bello were denied political justice, I was the lead lawyer who stood for these illustrious sons of Ebira land. Justice, they needed, and I stood for them for justice. **PRESS RELEASE** **Katsina Governor Donates N50M to Funtua Market Fire Victims, Calls for Preventive Measures** Following the recent fire outbreaks at Funtua Central Market, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, donated the sum of N50 million to the affected victims to aid their recovery. Governor Radda announced the donation while inspecting the fire-damaged herbal medicine section of the market yesterday,30th April, 2024. The leadership of Funtua council and the Central Market led Governor Radda through the fire-damaged areas. According to Governor Radda, the N50 million is not meant as compensation, but rather as financial aid to help the victims recover from their economic losses. The Katsina Governor also directed the Funtua local council authorities to work together with the central market leadership to implement effective measures that would prevent future fire outbreaks. While expressing sympathy for those affected, Governor Radda called for divine protection against future calamities. He further encouraged traders to regularly fulfill their "zakkat" obligations, This he said could contribute to their spiritual and financial well-being, potentially safeguarding them from such disasters.
