- *Leadership through selflessness*
Selflessness is a cornerstone of effective leadership, characterized by placing the needs of others before personal gain. A selfless leader prioritizes the growth and well-being of their people, fosters a collaborative environment, and empowers individuals to reach their full potential. This approach builds trust, loyalty, and a sense of community within the people, resulting in higher morale and productivity. By demonstrating humility and a willingness to serve, selfless leaders inspire and influence others, creating a positive impact that extends far beyond their immediate role.
Why are leaders nowadays so selfish, why should a leader left out the whole State/Country or a particular group or section of the society without any meaningful development? Sometimes stating that, these people/those people never voted me or supported me!
Where is our conscience when the same road they passes through will be the same road you travel on, paraventure you may decide to come to them on a visit or by way of campaign etc.
I think we need to start looking at the antecedents of people vying for elective positions before we actually vote them into those offices.
May God Almighty grant us the best leader in the Nov. 11, 2023 forthcoming Kogi election.*Leadership through selflessness* Selflessness is a cornerstone of effective leadership, characterized by placing the needs of others before personal gain.
