WHAT OPTIONS DO I HAVE?

Performance tuning can increase the power output on your vehicle significantly, the gains vary from engine to engine. But in some cases on downturned models, these can be up to 90%.

The Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost 80ps/100ps/125ps is one example where all variants use the same engine. But run different software which limits the engines power output, with a Stage 1 performance remap. They can all be tuned to a similar performance of 145+bhp meaning gains of over 80% on the 1.0 80bhp model.

This is now becoming prevalent on the latest engines with Ford. BMW, Mercedes, and the VAG group all known to restrict output in order to release multiple models. And trim levels with the least variation of engines.

Economy tuning can reduce the vehicle’s mpg consumption by up to 20%. Typical gains are 8-12%, with some engines seeing much more based on driving styles.
