How Cenforce Works:  Cenforce belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. When a man is sexually stimulated, the body releases a substance called nitric oxide, which leads to the production of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). cGMP relaxes the smooth muscles in the penis and increases blood flow, resulting in an erection.

PDE5 is an enzyme that breaks down cGMP. Cenforce works by inhibiting PDE5, which prevents cGMP from being broken down. This allows cGMP levels to remain higher, leading to increased blood flow to the penis and facilitating an erection when sexually stimulated. It's important to note that Cenforce alone will not cause an erection; sexual stimulation is still required.

Uses of Cenforce:

• Erectile Dysfunction (ED):  This is the primary and FDA-approved use of Cenforce.
• Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH):  Sildenafil (the active ingredient)  is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, characterized by high blood pressure in the arteries that supply the lungs. It helps relax the blood vessels in the lungs, improving blood flow and reducing symptoms.
