While not many were involved, it was an ideal way to experience the pulse of the players. Naturally, when you consider the only a tiny percentage of people taking part this pulse was... specific.

To get into the details, RuneLabs will be closed on May 28th which is when Ideas for 2017 ends. Technically it'll still be running, however, the criteria won't change. introduced and you won't be able to submit ideas as well as the RuneScape website will not include any hyperlinks to RuneLabs.

In explaining their decision, Jagex announced that they're shutting the project because of the small number of players who are playing the game. It's understandable why they'd like to shut down something that is only the smallest percentage of RuneScape players.
