Although The Tomb features a challenging main Easter Egg quest, it also contains various side Easter Eggs that players can complete. Some of these Easter Eggs provide valuable rewards, such as Essence or a free Legendary Aether Tool. Others, like the Jumpscare Easter Egg, serve as a fun way to prank friends. Here’s how players can complete the Jumpscare Easter Egg on The Tomb.

Before players can activate the Jumpscare Easter Egg on The Tomb, players must first locate a statue that will always have its back turned to the player. There are three possible spawn locations for this statue. The first is just outside the Neolithic Catacombs, viewable through a hole in the wall directly to the right of the Deadshot Daiquiri Perk Machine.

The second possible spawn for the statue sits just ahead of another hole in the wall of the Neolithic Catacombs, this time the one directly to the left of this area's Mystery Box spawn location—the same general location where players can find a free Nuke Power-Up.

The final location that the statue can spawn is within the Deep Excavation. Here the statue will be standing at the highest point of the excavation sight, directly above the Quick Revive Perk Machine.

This Easter Egg allows players to summon four Brain Rot zombies on The Tomb to aid them in battle. Here is a guide on how to complete it.

Now that players have located the statue, all they need to do to trigger the Jumpscare Easter Egg is to aim directly at it. Once done, the statue will turn to face the player, with its eyes glowing red. Faint whispers will also be heard periodically after staring at the statue. After this, the statue will disappear, and at a random time, a jumpscare will be triggered.

The jumpscare itself seems to occur when players pick up a random piece of loot when the whispering can be heard, with Salvage being a common trigger. However, other actions, such as resupplying ammunition via an Ammo Cache or killing zombies, can also trigger the jumpscare.

If players are in a squad, the jumpscare will appear for all players simultaneously, making this Easter Egg a great way to prank friends. Once the jumpscare has been triggered, the statue will reappear in any of the three aforementioned locations, allowing players to repeat the Easter Egg indefinitely for the remainder of their game.
