If you've been following along with this guide, Day 5 in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is where you should be. New Leaf is the place where you should be right now. The following is a description of the game New Leaf: "The development of New Horizons will proceed at a slightly slower pace than is customary. There are only two major events to keep an eye out for this week in terms of major events. What is most important is that your Wooden Bridge will be completed first and foremost. However, you will have the option of making one river crossing less difficult for the time being because no new bridges will be constructed. If you would like to speak with Nook or attend the opening ceremony, you are welcome to do so. However, you are under no obligation to do so.

THE FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT OBJECTIVE IS TO MEET YOUR NEW NEIGHBOR.
The arrival of a new inhabitant to your island will be the other noteworthy event that will take place on Day 5! Enthusiastically welcome them into their newly constructed home and engage in conversation with themEven if you do not anticipate gaining much from the conversation, you should always introduce yourself to others.
INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR OWN FURNISHINGS (GOAL 2)
A seminar in Tom Nook's tent will teach you how to customize furniture and other do-it-yourself projects, and you will have the opportunity to ask him any questions you might have. Following your attendance at his seminar, you will be able to make a wide range of visual modifications to your furniture and tools as a result of your involvement.

In order to achieve the third major goal, it is necessary to increase the amount of resources harvested.
The sheer volume of Hardwood, Softwood, and Wooden materials you've encountered up to this point is almost certain to have resulted in your drowning. To protect your mental health, you might consider delaying the day when you go around cutting down all the trees in your neighborhood if you believe you have a lot more resources than you need. Taking the time to go through all of your rocks in search of Iron Nuggets, Stones, and other valuable resources is always a good idea because these materials can be difficult to come by in the wild. A Gold Nugget may even be found as a result of your efforts, and you may be able to take it home with you. Take note of this if this is the case so that you can refer back to it later.

Another freebie day has come and gone, and with it, another freebie.

A new villager is expected to arrive in town, but aside from interacting with them, there won't be much to do in the immediate vicinity until they arrive. Spend your day however you want, as long as it is within your financial means. -Do you want to drown in Nook Miles, or do you want to swim in it? Purchase a ticket to a Nook Island and you may be fortunate enough to come away with some fruit that you do not already have on hand. Instead, you could spend the day fishing and collecting bugs to supplement your Bells stockpile, which would be extremely advantageous. Because you are in complete command of the situation!

According to the information that has been made available, a significant event appears to be taking place on your island today. In place of the drab old tent in which Tom Nook has been living for years, a legitimate Resident Services building, complete with all sorts of new functionality, is being built on the grounds of the university. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause, but we will not be able to complete the upgrade for a couple of days.

It will be impossible to use the tent (or the ABD machine) on Monday due to the fact that today's activities are mostly routine. We promise that your Nook Miles streak for visiting the ABD on a daily basis will not be interrupted during this period.

You will know when you have finished your first week of studying when you have completed your first week of studying.
In the coming weeks, there will be several significant events, the most significant of which is the completion and opening of the new Resident Services building (which should take place on Day 9 if you've been following this guide). Once you've unlocked this feature, you'll be able to construct bridges and ramps throughout your island; however, doing so will come at a high cost in terms of Bells.

The result will be more events and structures to look forward to, so be sure to check back each day and see what surprises the island has in store for you. PLEASE NOTE: This is a marathon, not a sprint, and that even 20 minutes per day should be sufficient to complete all of the required tasks in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! Without a doubt, if you wish to go above and beyond that limit, we will not stand in your way.

Make a point of introducing yourself to the people who reside on the third and final housing plot today. I have no doubt that the time and effort you put in to getting them set up, as well as your efforts, will be greatly appreciated by everyone.
