Fans of action role-playing games (ARPGs) are in for a treat in the year 2023, as both the Diablo and Path of Exile (PoE) communities will be receiving new titles. It has been ten years since Path of Exile was first made available to the public, and it is highly likely that an official announcement regarding the release date of Path of Exile 2 will be made during ExileCon 2023. The event will take place on July 29 and 30, and in addition to content related to PoE 2, it will also include question and answer sessions, a competitive PoE event, and other activities.

It is highly likely that the release date for Path of Exile 2 will be announced at ExileCon 2023.
If you are interested in watching the livestreams of the ExileCon 2023 event and earning some Twitch drops in the process, we strongly suggest that you check out our coverage of the event. Path of Exile 2 was first revealed in 2019, and Grinding Gear Games has provided us with a release window ranging from 2020 to 2023. During the event, we should receive a confirmation of the game's release date.

Path of Exile 2 is a popular action role-playing game that is the sequel to the original Path of Exile. Grinding Gear Games is the company that made the announcement in 2019, and the game is still in the development stage. Although it takes place in the same world as Path of Exile, the story told in the Atlas of Worlds is entirely different. The game will provide players with new content to explore, such as a new campaign, new skill trees, and other content to explore. Path of Exile 2 will include a redesigned skill tree with more than 190 fresh abilities for players to select from.  The developers have stated that these skills will be significantly more powerful and flexible than the ones found in Path of Exile.

Will There Be a Console Version of Path of Exile 2?
Path of Exile 2 will be playable on consoles, that much is certain. Grinding Gear Games stated in 2021 that Path of Exile 2 will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

When it comes to the game's content, there won't be any differences between the console and PC versions of the game. This ensures that players will continue to have access to the same rich and intricate character customization options, expansive and ever-evolving world, and challenging and rewarding gameplay options.

What to anticipate from the upcoming Path of Exile 2
Path of Exile 2 is a popular action role-playing game that is the sequel to the original Path of Exile.  Grinding Gear Games is the company that made the announcement in 2019, and the game is still in the development stage.

- The game will provide players with new content to explore, such as a new campaign, new skill trees, and other content to explore

- Path of Exile 2 will include a redesigned skill tree with more than 190 fresh abilities for players to select from

- The developers have stated that these skills will be significantly more powerful and flexible than the ones found in Path of Exile

- Path of Exile 2's endgame will also be different from what we are used to seeing in the first Path of Exile game

- It is anticipated that the game will use the same free-to-play model as its predecessor, which will allow users to enjoy the game without having to pay anything

- Because free-to-play players only have a limited amount of inventory space, and purchasing additional inventory slots will cost you money, you may feel compelled to make a purchase of Stash Tabs

- All of the items you can buy in Path of Exile are purely cosmetic, with the exception of Stash Tabs, and it's possible that the same system will be implemented in Path of Exile 2

- With the announcement that Path of Exile 2 will be available on consoles, Grinding Gear Games has the potential to reach a significantly larger audience than the one that the first Path of Exile game did

- It is anticipated that the game will be released in 2023, and there is a possibility that it will present a formidable challenge to Diablo 4's live service model
