UP NEET UG Counselling is the process for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Uttar Pradesh. It is conducted by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh (DGME UP). Students who have qualified NEET UG 2025 can apply for UP state counselling. Counselling dates will soon be announced, as the NEET result has been declared. The process includes registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the college. It is held in multiple rounds, like Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy Round.

UP NEET UG Counselling Highlights

UP NEET UG Counselling Eligibility Criteria

To participate in UP NEET UG Counselling 2025, the candidates must meet certain criteria:

• Qualify NEET UG 2025: Secure the minimum qualifying percentile in the NEET UG 2025 examination.

• Domicile Requirement: For 85% state quota seats, candidates must be domiciled in Uttar Pradesh. Those who have completed both Class 10 and 12 from UP schools are exempted from submitting a domicile certificate.

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as subjects.

• Age Limit: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025. There is no upper age limit.

• Online Registration: Visit upneet.gov.in and complete the UP NEET UG Counselling 2025 Registration.

• Registration Fee: ₹2,000 (non-refundable)

• Security Deposit: For government medical colleges, the security deposit is ₹30,000. If a student chooses a private medical college, the fee is ₹2,00,000. For private dental colleges, the counselling fee is ₹1,00,000.
