Blizzard could have used this season as a springboard to expand the Ladder system, adding new twists, such as unique rewards, bonus challenges, or even special Ladder-only content that would entice players to dive back in, including limited-time Diablo 4 best S9 items. Instead, players are left with a slightly updated version of the same experience they’ve had before.
