The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) is the authority responsible for Jharkhand MBBS/BDS Admission counselling. The shortlisted candidates need to appear for counselling via online mode. The aspirants are required to provide the preference of the institute for Jharkhand MBBS 2023 counselling on the choice-filling page. The candidates will be allotted seats based on the rank secured in the NEET entrance examination and the availability of seats.

Jharkhand MBBS Counselling Procedure 

The counselling will commence in the first week of July 2024 (tentative). The candidates seeking admission to the MBBS program must check their eligibility before appearing for the counselling round. Find below the procedure of Jharkhand MBBS Counselling 2025-

1. The candidates must check the selection status in the merit list available online mode.
2. The aspirants will need to pay a counselling fee to participate in the round.
3. Choice-filling can be done online. The candidates will need to provide their preference for the institute. 
4. The shortlisted aspirants are required to report at the allotted institute for document verification. The candidates must carry all specified documents for the verification of details.
5. The seat allotment will be done based on the NEET rank, seat availability, and reservation criteria. 
6. Candidates unable to secure a seat in the first round of counselling can participate in the subsequent rounds. 

Jharkhand MBBS Counselling  – Eligibility

The candidates meeting the eligibility criteria and securing the minimum qualifying percentile can only participate in the counselling round. Find below the eligibility criteria that aspirants need to fulfil for Jharkhand MBBS 2024 counselling-

1. Only the candidates with the name on the merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling round. 
2. All aspirants must register for the counselling process. 
3. It is mandatory for candidates to fulfil the NEET Eligibility criteria for counselling.
4. The aspirants must ensure that all the details filled in by them are correct to the best of their knowledge. Any discrepancy in the information provided at any stage of Jharkhand MBBS admission will lead to the cancellation of candidature.

Jharkhand MBBS Counselling  – Document Required

3. Class 10 and 12 passing certificate
