With the new Star Wars collaboration, Monopoly GO has introduced some important album changes, aiming to make earlier Sets lighter on Golds and easier to progress through. The collaboration has been available since May 1, bringing Monopoly GO players characters and events from The Skywalker Saga and The Mandalorian.

Monopoly GO is a mobile adaptation of the classic Monopoly board game, transforming the traditional gameplay with modern mechanics and visuals. Monopoly GO works as a live service game, and as such, it steadily brings a stream of new content and events to keep players engaged. The game has been commercially successful, with thousands of players digging into Monopoly’s mobile experience. The latest collaboration (currently available) brought Star Wars to Monopoly GO, and with it, the developer also introduced some important changes to the game..

In a blog post, developer Scopely revealed some changes that players can expect to see in the Albums following the release of the Star Wars collab in Monopoly GO. The final set, Galactic Heroes, will now contain most of the 4-star Monopoly GO Gold Stickers, as Scopely wants to make it easier to progress through the set, enabling players to complete it faster and get their hands on the rewards more frequently. Moreover, the Galactic Heroes set features 2,000 Rolls and the Millennium Falcon Shield – which the developer regards as one of the best cosmetics it has ever offered to players.

Players completing the Album will get 15,000 Rolls and an exclusive Monopoly GO Darth Vader token. The Prestige Album also comes with some exciting additions, such as a gold edition of the Millennium Falcon Shield and an exclusive Han Solo-themed Signature Dice. Scopely has also announced two community-voted Blitzes during this season (where players can help decide the selection of Gold Stickers), as well as more Golden Blitz events. Additionally, players trying to get Wild Stickers will be pleased to know that, compared to previous albums, these are now available earlier and appear more often in minigames.

Players have already been enjoying the Star Wars content in Monopoly GO, collecting the characters of the iconic sci-fi saga in the game. Scopely encourages players to submit their feedback on Albums, Gold Stickers, or any other aspect of the game to help it continue improving the experience. The developer assured players that this is the most ambitious Album Monopoly GO has seen, and these latest changes are meant to make it “one of the most engaging” yet.
