Farbrace also noted that another event to keep athletes occupied during The Hundred tournament in August is required. 

He advised splitting The Hundred into two divisions, but he still had no idea about the ideal arrangement.

Why Fewer T20 Games Might be Better

Sussex's T20 skipper, Tymal Mills, concurs that there should be fewer T20 Blast events. Teams play fourteen games right present, which can make the tournament seem overly protracted. 

The only other event having this many games is the Indian Premier League (IPL). Mills believes ten games would be preferable since it would increase the significance and excitement of every game.
