Cold stamping is a metal processing method that is based on the plastic deformation of metal. It uses molds and aluminum stamping equipment to process sheet metal to obtain the required shape and size of parts.

The stamping process has a wide range of applications. In almost all sectors of the national economy, stamping products are produced, such as automobiles, aircraft, tractors, motors, electrical appliances, instruments, railways, posts and telecommunications, chemicals and light industry daily products. proportion.

Compared with aluminum laser cut processing, cold stamping has a series of advantages such as high productivity, low processing cost, high material utilization, stable product dimensional accuracy, simple operation, and easy implementation of mechanization and automation. It is especially suitable for mass production.

  1. Classification of stamping process
  2. The cold stamping process can be divided into two categories: separation process and forming process according to its deformation properties. The separation process can be divided into blanking, punching and trimming, as shown in Table 1-1.
  3. The forming process can be divided into bending, deep drawing, boring, flanging, bulging, flaring, shrinking and aluminum spinning, as shown in Table 1-2. According to the shape, dimensional accuracy and other technical requirements of the product parts, various processes can be used to process the sheet blanks to obtain satisfactory parts.
